Step 6 & 7 - Ready, Willing, and Able

As part of the 11-pamphlet set outlining the 12-step recovery program, this packet focuses solely on steps 6 and 7.

Steps six and seven prepare clients to be "entirely ready" to become what the author refers to as "God's instrument." Placing emphasis on a higher power in order to move further along the road of recovery, this pamphlet explains that God must remove all of our character flaws and shortcomings to make way for a new, enlightened person. Patience, perseverance and faith are at the heart of steps 6 and 7 and along the journey to recovery.
